Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is inviting applications for a Consultant Haematologist with expertise in Haemostasis, Thrombosis and TTP. The 12‑month fixed term post offers progression to a substantive role within the non‑malignant haematology team.

The post involves inpatient and outpatient care, with a path to lead the DVT/anticoagulation service and chair the Trust Thrombosis Committee, and to contribute to diagnostic laboratory services.

Qualifications

• Specialist interest in Haemostasis and Thrombosis and TTP.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient services in non-malignant and general haematology.
• Progress to clinical lead for DVT and anticoagulation service and chair of the Trust Thrombosis Committee.
• Contribute to haemostasis and thrombosis laboratory diagnostic services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a comprehensive non-malignant haematology service.
• Lead the DVT and anticoagulation service and chair the Thrombosis Committee.
• Support and develop the haemostasis and thrombosis laboratory diagnostics.
