Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) is seeking a Locum Consultant Haematologist with a specialist interest in Haemostasis, Thrombosis and TTP to join the non-malignant haematology team. The post is a 12-month fixed-term contract with 10 PAs per week, based at the Queen’s Medical Centre and City Campus, with potential progression to a substantive post.

The successful candidate will lead the DVT and anticoagulation service, chair the Thrombosis Committee, and contribute to diagnostic haematology

Qualifications

• Specialist interest in haemostasis, thrombosis and TTP.
• GMC registration with licence to practise required.
• UK trained applicants should have CCT or be near award.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care in non-malignant haematology.
• Lead DVT and anticoagulation service and chair Thrombosis Committee.
• Contribute to haemostasis and thrombosis laboratory services.
