Job summary

Newington Road Surgery seeks a locum GP on a six-month contract to provide primary medical care to its registered patients in Ramsgate. Qualifications

• Qualified GP with GMC registration.
• MRCGP or equivalents.
• Registration with GMC and National Performers List required.

Responsibilities

• Clinically examine and assess patients, plan care and refer to other services.
• Manage long-term conditions and review medications against NICE guidance.
• Prescribe generically in line with local and national guidance.
• Take on telephone triage and duty doctor work on a rota.
• Process referrals, repeat prescriptions and related administration.
• Conduct home visits and out-of-hours duties as agreed.
• Support safeguarding, governance and training within the practice.
