Job Details

1. Job Title: GP Pharmacist
2. Location: East of England
3. Duration: Ongoing contract
4. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
5. Start Date: May 2025
6. End Date: Ongoing
7. Rate of Pay: £25 - £30 per hour (depending on experience)

Role Responsibilities

• Perform structured medication reviews and optimize prescribing
• Support long-term condition management and deprescribing
• Liaise with GPs, nurses, and other practice staff
• Contribute to QOF and IIF targets
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements & Qualifications

• Current and valid GPhC registration
• Previous GP surgery or PCN experience (essential)
• Independent prescribing qualification (desired, not essential)
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a primary care setting

Working Hours & Contract Details

This is a fully onsite role requiring availability Monday to Friday. The contract is ongoing with the potential for long-term extension based on performance and service needs.
