Job summary

Braemar Medical is currently sourcing experienced Locum GPs to support multiple surgeries across Kent. You will deliver high-quality patient care through a mix of face-to-face and telephone consultations, with 10-minute appointment intervals and built-in catch-up time for admin.

Opportunities include ad-hoc and longer-term contracts, a day rate of £800, and access to on-site parking and the EMIS Clinical System. A dedicated consultant will support you throughout placements.

• GMC Registration with Licence to Practise.
• Inclusion on the NHS GP Performers List.
• MRCGP or Equivalent Qualification.

Braemar Medical is currently working with multiple GP Surgery clients across Kent who are seeking experienced Locum GPs to support their practices.

Whether you are looking for additional ad-hoc sessions or a longer-term contract, we have a variety of opportunities available across Kent with supportive and well-organised surgeries.

Working Hours

• 09:00 – 18:30
• 30-Minute Unpaid Break

The Role

You will be supporting established GP surgeries by delivering high-quality patient care through a mixture of:

• Face-to-Face Consultations
• Telephone Consultations
• Assessment and Management of Acute and Chronic Conditions
• Prescribing and Medication Reviews
• Referrals and Clinical Administration

Appointments are scheduled at 10-minute intervals, and the practices recognise the importance of providing time for clinical administration. To support this, blocked catch-up slots are built into the clinics, allowing adequate time to review results, complete referrals, process prescriptions, and manage other surgery-related administration.

Requirements

• GMC Registration with Licence to Practise

• MRCGP or Equivalent Qualification
• Experience Working Within UK General Practice
• Excellent Clinical and Communication Skills
