Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to work for a GP practice in Prenton. The role offers flexible, well-organised sessions within a supportive primary care environment that provides clear daily clinical workflows.

You will manage a varied caseload, deliver high-quality patient assessments and provide continuity where required. Strong admin support and established workflows support efficient session delivery.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribing safely and appropriately.
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
