Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to join a GP practice in Sittingbourne for ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions. The role emphasizes flexible, well-organised sessions within a supportive primary care environment, with clear daily structure.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP with current practice eligibility in the UK.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Run routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Manage acute presentations and complex cases.
• Provide telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Review investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribe safely and appropriately.
• Document consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Support the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
