Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Boston. The role offers flexible, well-organised sessions within a supportive primary care team that values continuity of care and efficient clinical workflows.

You will manage a varied caseload, deliver high-quality patient assessments and provide telephone triage as part of daily workflow, with strong administrative support and long-term session options available.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner with UK primary care experience.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribing safely and appropriately.
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
