Calvary Health Centre in Liverpool is seeking an enthusiastic GP to join our friendly practice on a fixed-term locum basis. The role covers six sessions per week and spans acute and chronic care, home visits, and governance duties.

You will work with GPs, nurses, pharmacists and admin staff; participate in audits and teaching where possible; NHS Registration and Performers List are essential. We offer a supportive team and modern facilities.

Aufgaben

• Face-to-face and telephone consultations.
• Management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Undertaking appropriate home visits for patients unable to attend the practice.
• Reviewing investigation results and clinical correspondence.
• Appropriate referrals and use of Advice & Guidance.
• Safe and effective prescribing and antimicrobial stewardship.
• Participation in clinical meetings and practice governance activities.
• Working collaboratively with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, administrative staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintaining high-quality and timely clinical records.
• Contributing to clinical audits and quality improvement projects.
• Supporting the practice's commitment to clinical governance and CQC standards.
• Opportunities to become involved in teaching and supporting medical students, where appropriate.
