Job summary

Calvary Health Centre in Liverpool is seeking a GP to join a friendly, supportive practice team. You will work 4-6 sessions per week with flexible days where possible, delivering face-to-face and telephone consultations to a patient population of about 4,000 with strong governance and teamwork.

The practice offers proactive clinical development, involvement in teaching medical students and opportunities to lead or participate in audits, with a competitive sessional rate negotiable by experience.

Qualifications

• GMC registered and on NHS Performers List.

Responsibilities

• Face-to-face and telephone consultations.
• Management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Home visits for patients unable to attend.
• Review investigation results and clinical correspondence.
• Appropriate referrals and use of Advice & Guidance.
• Safe prescribing and antimicrobial stewardship.
• Participation in clinical meetings and governance activities.
• Collaborate with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, admin staff and MDT.
• Maintain high-quality clinical records.
• Contribute to audits and quality improvement projects.
• Support teaching of medical students where appropriate.
