Job summary

Crewe Medical Centre, a friendly GP surgery, is seeking a Locum GP for maternity cover (6-7 sessions per week) starting February 2027. The practice serves about 11,000 patients in a purpose built Health Centre with on-site parking.

Join a supportive team with daily coffee huddles, Docman workflow, in-house pharmacist and technician, and a multidisciplinary team including GP Partners, salaried GPs, ANP, Practice Nurses, HCA, Health Visitors, APP and Mental Health Nurse. Salary negotiable.

• Provide Locum GP services for maternity cover.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and use on-site pharmacist and technician support.

Locum GP (maternity cover)– 6-7 Sessions

Crewe Medical Centre is a friendly and fast paced GP surgery. We care for a practice population of approximately 11,000 within a purpose built Health Centre which has great facilities including on-site parking.

An opportunity has arisen for a Locum GP to join our supportive and friendly team for a period of 12 months. We are looking for an individual that will complement our existing team and who further enhances our resilience to continue to deliver high quality, patient cantered care.

We are ideally looking for 6-7 sessions per week to start in February 2027.

• Daily GP Coffee huddles for case discussion and peer support.
• Workflow optimisation system in place to minimise Docman burden.
• In-house Pharmacist and Technician support.
• Multi-disciplinary team including GP Partners, Salaried GPs, ANP, Practice Nurses, HCA, Health Visitors, APP and Mental Health Nurse.
• We are also a GP Training practice who host GP trainees and Medical Students.
