Maternity Locum GP Position

Post from July 2025 until March 2026

Initially 2-3 sessions per week until October then 5-7 sessions per week but is negotiable.

The opportunity has arisen for Maternity Locum GP position within the Practice starting July 2025. Initially 2-3 sessions per week until October then 5-7 sessions per week but is negotiable. We are a well established, friendly seaside Practice on the beautiful North East coast of Fife, Scotland.

We place emphasis on maintaining a balance between work and home life.

  • Large, modern, purpose built premises
  • Various community services on site. District Nurses, Health Visitors, Pharmacy support, Treatment room nurses etc
  • 4 GP partners and 3 Salaried GP
  • Full Nursing team
  • Lower than average number of patients per GP
  • ScotGEM teaching practice
  • No extended hours or OOH commitments but OOH shifts available if desired.
  • Great communication between GPs with team working at the heart of our ethos. – we meet informally every day for clinical support and chat.
  • EMIS/PCS and DOCMAN system
  • NO QOF
  • Close to St Andrews and Dundee Univercities – clinical teaching opportunities at both.
  • A varied but largely elderly population – we practice interesting, rewarding and realistic medicine.
  • Beautiful, unspoiled coastline with characteristic and picturesque fishing villages.
  • Very good local schools
