Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum General Practitioner to work with a GP practice in Bearsden. Ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions with full-day or half-day availability are possible.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner is required.

• Recent UK primary care experience is required.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• F familiar with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribing safely and appropriately.
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.

• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS
