Job summary

Locum Ready is recruiting a GMC-registered General Practitioner to work at a GP practice in Hounslow. The role offers flexible, ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions with a clear structure for daily clinical work and strong administrative support.

You will manage a varied caseload, perform high-quality patient assessments, provide telephone triage, review investigations and ensure safe prescribing. Reqs include NHS Performers List inclusion, recent UK primary care experience, indemnity and Enhanced

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running routine GP clinics and managing acute presentations.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribing safely and appropriately.
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
