Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Epsom. The role offers flexible, well-organised sessions within a supportive primary care environment with clear daily clinical workflows.

You will manage a varied caseload, deliver high-quality patient assessments, and provide continuity where required, supported by strong administrative workflows and a team-focused approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• GMC registration as a GP is required.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List is required.
• Recent UK primary care experience is required.
• Familiarity with EMIS and/or SystmOne is preferred.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS are required.

Responsibilities

• Run routine GP clinics, including urgent slots.
• Manage acute presentations and complex cases.
• Provide telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Review investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribe safely and appropriately.
• Document consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Support the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.

Requirements
