Locum Ready is seeking a General Practitioner to work on ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions at a Burton-on-Trent practice. Flexible, well-organised sessions with strong administrative support and clear daily structures are available.

You will manage a varied caseload, deliver patient assessments, and ensure continuity of care where required, with emphasis on safe prescribing and thorough documentation in the clinical system.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP with license to practice in the UK.
• Active inclusion on NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Indemnity coverage and Enhanced DBS are required.

Responsibilities

• Run routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Manage acute presentations and complex cases.
• Provide telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Review investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribe safely and appropriately.
• Document consultations clearly in the clinical system.

Requirements
