Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Locum ENT consultant to join the department on a fixed-term 12-month post with a 10PAs job plan. The role supports inpatient and outpatient backlog management and urgent cancer referrals (2WW pathway) across four sites: QEHB, BHH, GHH and Solihull.

The appointee will participate in clinics, theatres and on-call duties and contribute to governance and teaching.

Qualifications

• Registered with GMC.
• FRCS ORL HNS or equivalent.
• Eligible for full GMC registration at time of appointment.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Clinic, theatre and on-call duties as part of the ENT team.
• Attend Clinical Governance, teaching and audit commitments.
• Support inbound and outpatient backlog management and 2WW pathway targets.
• Cross-site working across QEHB, BHH, GHH and Solihull sites.
