Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Locum Emergency Nurse/Clinical Practitioner for an Out of Hours service in West Yorkshire. This role offers flexible shift patterns, providing the opportunity to work up to 7 days a week. You will engage with a diverse patient population, delivering innovative care and treatment for a variety of medical and social needs. Ideal candidates will have relevant nursing qualifications, clinical experience, and the ability to interpret X-Rays. Qualifications

  • 1 year of clinical experience since gaining Minor Injury qualification.
  • Experience interpreting X-Rays for both adults and children.

Responsibilities

  • Treat patients for injuries and interpret X-Rays for adults and children.
  • Manage a diverse patient population with various medical needs.

Skills

NMC / HPC / GPC registration
Clinical experience managing adults and children
Independent Prescribing certificate
X-Ray interpretation
Minor Injuries certificate level 6
Experience in MIU environment / UTC / ED

Locum Emergency Nurse/Clinical Practitioner – West Yorkshire OOHs

GP World have an amazing new nursing opportunity as an Emergency Nurse/Clinical Practitioner within an Out of Hours service. This service offers ongoing locum work in an incredibly diverse patient population who present with a variety of medical and social needs, delivering innovative and sustainable care for all. They have multiple services within Urgent Treatment Centres.

Shift Patterns: A range of shift hours offering 5-12 hours per shift (Start times from 0800 and finishing times till 2300).

Days: Offer up to 7 days a week.

Rates: £45 - £65 per hour depending on experience.

Start date: As soon as possible.

Requirements:

  • NMC / HPC / GPC registration.
  • Nursing or Adult Nursing Diploma or Paramedic BSc Sciences.
  • Minor Injuries certificate level 6 or above.
  • Clinical experience managing adults and children of all ages.
  • Clinical experience since gaining Minor Injury qualification (1 year).
  • Independent Prescribing certificate or experience of using PGDs.
  • Experience of working within a MIU environment / UTC / ED.
  • IRMER Training within the last 3 years and experience of X-Ray interpretation in adults and paediatrics dated within the last 3 years.

Role Purpose and Skills:

You will be required to treat patients for injuries and be able to interpret X-Ray for adults and paediatrics.
