Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking a qualified Conveyancer for a three-month locum assignment, based at Tonbridge or St Leonards with a minimum of three days in the office. You will manage a busy caseload of 50–60 files from instruction to completion, move matters swiftly, and work to the firm's standards for quality, compliance and client care, using CLIO to keep records up to date.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a full caseload (50–60 files).
• Strong organisation and prioritisation across a large caseload.
• Comfort using CLIO case management system.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 50–60 files from instruction to completion and post-completion work.
• Take instructions from clients and update at each stage.
• Review title, searches and documentation; raise and resolve enquiries.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, transfers and related documents.
• Liaise with solicitors, estate agents, lenders and third parties to keep matters moving.
• Handle funds, completion statements and Stamp Duty Land Tax requirements.
• Maintain Land Registry applications/registrations
• Keep records on CLIO and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Work in line with regulatory, AML requirements.
