JOB SUMMARY:
This job is for a locum Consultant Radiologist with a Specialist Interest in Breast Imaging. The job is a full time post comprising of 1 Programmed Activities (PAs) every 2 weeks.
PURPOSE OF JOB: To provide a full General Radiology service for the Trust with a special interest in Breast Screening and Symptomatic imaging.
A half day per month is dedicated to audit and teaching. All elective work is cancelled for this session and staff are expected to attend and participate as part of clinical governance and audit arrangements. There is also a learning and discrepancy meeting. All CPD requirements must be met.
Directorate Consultant meetings are held monthly and are chaired by the Clinical Lead.
The general radiology department are currently hosting radiology trainees from the Kent, Surrey and Surrey Deanery.
