Exciting opportunity for a Urology Consultant at Northampton General Hospital to deliver high-quality urological services. The role entails working with a team of expert consultants, engaging in both elective and emergency procedures, and contributing to patient care excellence. A new and exciting opportunity is advertised for a Urology Consultant to join our Urology team. This is a fixed term post for a 8 th urology consultant. This is a new post and applicants with skills that complement the department would be welcome. The department is open to candidates developing their own subspecialty interests. An interest in core urology and competence in bladder outflow surgery/functional urology would be desirable.
The successful applicant will be a 8 th new consultant post, joining 7 substantive consultants, based at Northampton General Hospital delivering high quality elective and emergency urological services to the catchment area.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø To fully participate of elective and emergency urological service (this includes management of common paediatric inguino-scrotal conditions)
Ø To provide highest possible levels of patient care
Ø To work as an active member of the Urology team
Ø To actively remain clinically competent
Ø To work closely with Multidisciplinary teams
Ø To activate particulate and undertake audit
Ø To work to all Trust Policies and procedures
Ø To work flexibly
