An exciting opportunity is available for a Urology Consultant to join the Urology team at Northampton General Hospital. This fixed-term position allows for career development in a supportive environment, requiring expertise in bladder outflow surgery and core urology. Candidates will contribute to both elective and emergency urological services, working collaboratively with a dedicated team to provide exemplary patient care.
A new and exciting opportunity is advertised for a Urology Consultant to join our Urology team. This is a fixed term post for a 8th urology consultant. This is a new post and applicants with skills that complement the department would be welcome. The department is open to candidates developing their own subspecialty interests. An interest in core urology and competence in bladder outflow surgery/functional urology would be desirable.
The successful applicant will be a 8th new consultant post, joining 7 substantive consultants, based at Northampton General Hospital delivering high quality elective and emergency urological services to the catchment area.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
To fully participate of elective and emergency urological service (this includes management of common paediatric inguino-scrotal conditions)
To provide highest possible levels of patient care
To work as an active member of the Urology team
To actively remain clinically competent
To work closely with Multidisciplinary teams
To activate particulate and undertake audit
To work to all Trust Policies and procedures
To work flexibly
