Locum Consultant Radiologist – Cross-Sectional Imaging

ProMedical seeks a Consultant Radiologist to support a West Midlands service on a locum basis. The role is Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, in a hospital setting, with a temporary contract of 3 months.

You will provide outpatient and inpatient reporting of cross-sectional imaging, support cancer pathway imaging and report GP chest X-rays as required, within NHS standards and multidisciplinary teams.

Competenze

• Active GMC registration.
• Consultant Radiologist with reporting experience.
• Strong cross-sectional imaging reporting (CT and/or MRI).
• Recent NHS experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication, clinical judgement and reporting skills.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (visa sponsorship not offered).

Mansioni

• Provide outpatient and inpatient reporting of cross-sectional imaging studies.
• Support reporting of FDS and cancer pathway imaging.
• Report GP chest X-rays and other diagnostic imaging as required.
• Work with radiographers, clinicians, cancer services and MDTs.
• Maintain accurate and timely radiology reports in NHS standards.
• Support service delivery and patient pathways through high-quality interpretation.
• Escalate significant or urgent findings appropriately.
