A major healthcare provider in Manchester seeks a Locum Consultant General Paediatrician with a focus on Child Mental Health. The role includes providing clinical support across the region, engaging in teaching and research. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and experience in paediatric medicine. Locum Consultant General Paediatrician with an interest in Child Mental Health to join our General Paediatrics Team at RMCH. The post will include acute General Paediatric Duties and 2 PA's providing General Paediatric support to Manchester, Salford and Trafford CAMHS and The MFT Community Eating Disorders Service. The successful applicant will be one of 2 General Paediatricians with a special interest in Child Mental Health within a thriving General Paediatrics Department. The closing date is 13 October 2025.
The post will be for 10 PA's per week with 8.5 PA's Direct Clinical Care and 1.5 PA's Supporting Professional Activities consistent with other consultants within the trust. The exact detail of the job plan will be finalised with the successful candidate.
