We are delighted to invite applications for a Locum Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist to join our enthusiastic and dynamic multidisciplinary Paediatric Gastroenterology team. This is a full-time (1.0 WTE) locum position for a minimum of 12 months, covering parental leave, with an anticipated start date 1 st Jul 2025.
Our team provides a comprehensive, high-quality tertiary Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition service across the South West of England. Based at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, part of University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW), we serve a regional population of over one million children. The hospital is a principal teaching center closely linked with the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England (UWE), offering excellent opportunities for research, undergraduate, and postgraduate education.
We are seeking amotivated and enthusiastic consultant to join our existing team of six consultants (5.7 WTE). The successful candidate will contribute to our high-standard tertiary service and work within a well-established and supportive multidisciplinary team.
Applicants must:
- Hold a CCT in General Paediatrics (or be within six months of completion) or an equivalent qualification.
- Have at least two years of sub-specialty training in Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition in an approved institution.
- Be on, or eligible for, the GMC Sub-Specialty Register for Paediatric Gastroenterology (preferred).
