Job description

This is an opportunity to join the Newham Early Intervention Service, part of the Adult Mental Health Directorate on a fixed-term basis until end of September 2026 - up to 11 months depending on start date. The post has become available due to the substantive post-holder temporarily reducing their hours. The post holder will job share with the substantive consultant, preferably working Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver:

• Consultant led assessment and management of service users within the Early Intervention Service.
• Highly effective clinical leadership.
• Advice and consultation to colleagues.
• Training and education.
• Supervision of specialty doctors.
