We are looking for a Locum Consultant Rehabilitation Psychiatrist to join the rehabilitation inpatient and community teams in Bristol on a fixed term contract until March 2025.
This role has been created to develop services based on local needs and national guidance, focusing on providing enhanced local services for people with complex mental health difficulties.
The services in Bristol include Alder unit, a ten-bed open rehabilitation ward at Callington Road Hospital, and the Bristol Community Rehabilitation Service, based in St Pauls, working across the city.
This is an opportunity to work with two well-established services that serve individuals with complex long-term mental health conditions, following national standards and offering a multidisciplinary, recovery-oriented approach.
We welcome psychiatrists with diverse experiences to join our team of two existing consultants. We are active in training, research, and service development.
We seek a skilled rehabilitation psychiatrist passionate about delivering excellent care and leading service development in a complex system.
