We are expanding to meet the rising demand for cross-sectional imaging and to support our cancer centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly skilled, dedicated team. We will develop exciting, interesting, and sustainable roles around existing sub-specialty expertise, integrating into the appropriate MDTs.

  • Milford Community Hospital: Expanded DR plain film and ultrasound facilities, with 2 Siemens MRI scanners (3T and 1.5T) and CT.

Main duties of the job

We seek candidates with experience in reporting cancer imaging and supporting oncology MDTs and research. This is a general radiology role, with subspecialist interests welcomed and supported.

Main duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing general radiology services, especially MRI and CT for cancer and potential cancer, in collaboration with Consultant and Senior colleagues.
  • Providing radiological reports and investigations as required by the clinical director, including plain film reporting and general radiology.
  • Covering for colleagues during leave, including MDT coverage.

On-Call:

The current on-call commitment is 1 in 15 general radiology, equating to 1 PA. There is an option to set up a home workstation for reporting. Outside 8 am-8 pm, reporting support is provided by an outsourced company.
