Job summary
The Jenny Lind Children's Hospital, NNUH, is seeking one 8PA Locum consultant in paediatric respiratory medicine for a 12 month fixed term contract.
The successful appointee will help shape the developments of this well-established unit and support the East of England CF network and regional respiratory services. The post comprises of 8PA of which 1.25 SPA and 6.75PAs of clinical work. The clinical work will include specialized cystic fibrosis and respiratory work.
We encourage applicants who have completed their national sub-speciality grid/ SPIN/equivalent training in paediatric respiratory medicine.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will work with colleagues in paediatric respiratory medicine, paediatric medicine, surgery, and neonatology to provide respiratory support to inpatients and outpatients in the Jenny Lind Children Hospital. They will collaborate with colleagues at CUH to develop closer clinical, research and training links, as lead centres within the regional Paediatric Respiratory and Cystic Fibrosis services.
NNUH is a recognised specialist centre for Cystic Fibrosis.
The Acute paediatrics and paediatric medicine on-call are delivered by a team of consultants working across children's emergency department, children's assessment unit and inpatient wards.
