Job description

Applications are invited to apply for the Consultant post to join the Women’s Health Division at Royal London Hospital. We are seeking a dynamic individual with drive and enthusiasm to achieve service development and transformation, as we strive to provide outstanding, cutting-edge care to women of East London and beyond.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Royal London Hospital and continue developing as a consultant working with a skilled, supportive, and passionate team. Teaching, Training & Supervision

The post holder will contribute to undergraduate teaching and the training of junior medical and midwifery staff. Experience in teaching and training within fetal monitoring and obstetric skills and drills is expected. The post holder will also participate actively in clinical and academic training, supervising clinical fellows and core trainees, and attending multidisciplinary meetings within the Women’s Health Department.

Leadership

We seek individuals with the drive to develop and transform services, providing outstanding care to all women. The successful candidate will contribute both clinically and operationally to our commitment to personalized, safe, and positive experiences for women using our services.

On Call

The post holder will participate in the obstetrics on-call rota, covering labour ward only during on-call duties.
