NHS Fife is seeking an enthusiastic NHS Locum Generalist Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join their team. The role comes with a 1:11 on-call rota and requires full GMC registration and relevant training. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic clinical environment, ensuring high-quality care for patients.

Applicants are invited to apply for an NHS Locum Generalist Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology post to join our progressive and enthusiastic team. The role includes a 1:11 obstetric first on-call rota, working 10 programmed activities per week in NHS Fife.
An interest in benign gynaecology surgery is desirable but not essential.
Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a license to practice, and be eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview. Portfolio Pathway (formerly CESR) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once awarded. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training and the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to practice as an eligible specialist in the UK.
The unit delivered 2800 women in 2020 and is supported by a level 2 neonatal unit.
