Overview

Responsibilities

As a Locum Consultant in Emergency Medicine you will provide senior leadership in the supervision and management of all acutely ill and injured patients. Duties include sharing the workload across all sites, supervising junior medical staff on‑call, and completing all immediate and subsequent administration relevant to the care of patients assigned to you on a given day. Category II work may be undertaken, with arrangements agreed at appointment.

Qualifications

Candidates must be eligible for GMC registration: an active licence, ceased licence or pending application at the point of application. Applicants who do not meet this criterion will not progress to shortlisting.
