This is a full-time position offering a 10 PA job plan, with potential for additional PAs. We value our staff's wellbeing and offer flexible working options. The role involves night and weekend on-call duties in general medicine and day services.
The Trust supports postgraduate and research activities, including study leave and funding for CPD. As an associated teaching hospital of Edge Hill University, we offer training for Specialist Registrars, including an MSc in Elderly Care Medicine.

The directorate has a team of six consultants, one Associate Specialist, and three Specialist Registrars, covering 81 beds in various Elderly Care units. The team provides comprehensive services, including clinics for Stroke, TIA, Falls, Parkinson’s, and Dementia, as well as community services with MDT meetings and home visits. WWL is a trauma center offering orthopaedic and trauma care.
