The post is for 10 Programmed Activities (PAs): 8 clinical Direct Clinical Care (DCC) sessions, including two laboratory sessions, and 2 supporting programmed activities (SPAs).
The department of Metabolic Medicine is based at the Edward building (4th floor) at the new Royal Liverpool Hospital site. The laboratory services at Royal Liverpool Hospital merged with those at Aintree Hospital in 2012 to form Liverpool Clinical Laboratories (LCL).
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust comprises Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, and Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
We are part of NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group, formed on 1 Nov 2024 from the coming together of LUHFT and Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust.
Essential qualifications: MB ChB or equivalent medical qualification, FRCPath or equivalent, MRCP or equivalent, and full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council.
Desirable qualifications: MD or PhD.
Language skills: Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English.
