A local healthcare provider in Halifax is looking for a full-time Locum Consultant Cardiologist specializing in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI). The role involves supporting a team of cardiologists and delivering inpatient care while being part of development programs. Job summary
This is a full-time fixed-term post for a Locum Consultant Cardiologist with specialist interest in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) and is designed to keep up with the increasing demands on our local service due to a gap in the current workforce. Applicants will be required to have a wide range of experience in general cardiology and will join 11 full time and one part-time cardiology consultants in the Trust.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be expected to work with colleagues at both sites as required to support the service. The post holder will contribute to the current 1:9 Consultant of the week model for delivering cardiology inpatient care at CRH. There will also be a commitment to a 1:9 cardiology on call service/ weekend rota across the Trust. There is no commitment to general medicine on call.

This is a Full-Time post providing 10 Programmed Activities (PAs), but applicants wishing to work part-time are also encouraged to apply and job plans will be adjusted accordingly, and by negotiation with appointees.
