A major healthcare provider in Manchester is seeking a locum burns and plastic surgeon. The role involves supporting adult and paediatric burn care across multiple facilities and requires a CCT-holder with relevant experience. An exciting fixed term locum burns and plastic surgeon opportunity within the Manchester Burns and Plastic Surgery Service at Wythenshawe Hospital (adult burns) and Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital (paediatric burns).
The successful applicant will join a team of twenty seven plastic surgery consultants and will be responsible for supporting the delivery of centre-level burn care in both adult and paediatric services. This includes participating in the 1:8 on-call commitment on the burns consultant rota (which currently includes plastic surgery at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital).
We are seeking a CCT-holder with interests in adult and paediatric burn care. Additional interests in paediatric plastic surgery or skin cancer are welcomed. Recent experience in adult and paediatric burns and collaborative multidisciplinary team working are essential criteria.
