We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Consultant in Anaesthetics and Cronic Pain to join our team. The successful candidate will join a team of friendly and dynamic Anaesthetic and Intensive Care Consultants. We are dedicated to developing the department, team and working towards the wider organisational goals and culture.
The example job plan is based around sessions in Anaesthesia, Chronic Pain and participation in the out of hours service.

To provide a high standard of care to any patient for whom you have clinical responsibility.
The successful applicant will take part in the general on call rota, either at Calderdale or Huddersfield depending on service requirements and prior discussion with the Clinical Directors.
Surgical specialties provided by the Trust include ENT, Trauma & Orthopaedics, General, Ophthalmic, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Upper GI (including Bariatrics), Urological (including laparoscopic resections), Colorectal, Robotic and Plastic surgery. Some paediatric work is undertaken within these specialties.
We employ more than 6,500 staffwho deliver compassionate care from our two main hospitals,Calderdale Royal Hospital and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary as well as in community sites, healthcentres and in patients' homes. We also are incredibly proud to have almost 150 volunteers here at CHFT.
We provide a range of services including urgent and emergency care; medical; surgical; maternity; gynaecology; critical care; children's and young people's services; end of life care and outpatient and diagnostic imaging services.
We provide community health services, including sexual health services in Calderdale from Calderdale Royal and local health centres. These include Todmorden Health Centre and Broad Street Plaza.
