Applications are invited for a full-time locum consultant immunologist position in Immunology, with a focus on allergy and supporting the High Risk Covid Vaccine Service at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH). The role is based at the Departments of Immunology & Allergy, Oxford.
We seek a candidate interested in working and teaching in our renowned allergy service, which is located within the Thames Valley. The post involves duties primarily at the John Radcliffe & Churchill Hospitals, with flexibility to work across various Trust locations.
The role encompasses 10 Programmed Activities (PAs), including 8.5 clinical PAs and 1.5 supporting PAs. Responsibilities include conducting allergy and immunology clinics, supporting the High Risk Vaccine service, and managing cases related to primary and secondary immunodeficiency, immunotherapy, drug allergy, general allergies (inhalants, foods), and anaphylaxis. Laboratory sessions are not included, but collaboration with the clinical immunology laboratory is encouraged.
