Job Title: Locum Consultant Haematologist

Location: Lancashire, UK

Contract Type: Agency Locum (short-term and long-term assignments available).

Start Date: ASAP

Details: Monday to Friday + 1:4 on calls. Job plan to be negotiated with suitable applicants. Must have previous NHS experience and full Right to Work in the UK (visa sponsorship can't be offered).

About the Role

As a locum Consultant in Haematology, you'll provide expert care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Clinical Haematology clinics, ward rounds and analysis of diagnostic blood films, provision of clinical advice
  • Supporting junior doctors and clinical staff
  • Contributing to service development and audits

What We're Looking For

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
  • UK Right to Work
  • Strong communication and teamworking skills
  • CCT in Haematology (or within 6 months of achieving it)
