Job summary

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Full-Time Locum Consultant Haematologist for the Royal Hallamshire Hospital on a fixed-term contract to 31 July 2027. Job summary

We are looking to appoint a Full-Time Locum Consultant Haematologist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital for a fixed term contract until the end of July 2027. Any candidate who is unable for personal reasons to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for the post; if such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with consultant colleagues. Should any further vacancies arise shortlisted applicants will be considered.

Main duties of the job

The appointee will, together with Consultant colleagues, contribute to the provision of inpatient, day case and outpatient haemato-oncology and haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (as per JACIE standards). Qualifications

• Essential: Full registration (with a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Essential: Basic Medical Degree
