Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Consultant Haematologist based at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. We are seeking a dynamic individual committed to excellence in service delivery to join our team for 12 months. All candidates should be competent in managing patients with haematological disorders; development of a speciality interest would be encouraged.


Main duties of the job

  • Hold clinics in Ysbyty Glan Clwyd and other sites.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams for both day-to-day management of patients, as well as in audit and in the development of patient pathway protocols.
  • Provide effective leadership.
  • Sustain and develop teaching and research.
  • Provide clinical support and specialist clinical advice to laboratory services.
