LOCUM CONSULTANT GENERAL SURGEON

&

Ambulatory (Day-Case) Surgery

An opportunity has arisen for a locum appointment for a Consultant General Surgeon to join the Tayside-wide Regional General Surgery Service. The post is based at NHS Tayside's Hospitals, namely Ninewells Hospital & Medical School, with additional sessions at Perth Royal Infirmary and Stracathro Hospital. The post holder will join a dynamic team of general surgeons providing Emergency and Elective services (secondary and tertiary care) for general & subspecialist GI surgery (Colorectal, Upper GI, HPB & Advanced Malignancy).

This position involves a major commitment to Emergency & Ambulatory General Surgery. A complementary sub-specialist interest is welcomed and encouraged, with an emphasis on outpatient and inpatient elective activities, particularly benign biliary services.
