Job Description:

The General Medicine department within an NHS trust in South West England is seeking a Locum Consultant in General Medicine to start as soon as possible for an initial period of 6 months.

The core working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 or 08:00-17:00. The role does not include on-call duties on the rota; however, on-call responsibilities can be negotiated if necessary. The job plan involves covering the general medical ward and the buddy surgical ward for medical outliers. The team includes a registrar and junior doctors for support.
