The role involves the assessment and surgical management of HPB Cancer patients within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must hold full registration to practice with the GMC. NHS Grampian are delighted to welcome applications for the above post basedin Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The post is for a period of twelve months. Theappointee will join a team of Consultants and Specialist Doctors in ARI and willhave links to wider NHS Grampian and National Services. This post willaugment the existing HPB Cancer Consultant workforce and may include
assessment and surgical management of HPB Cancer patients.
The General Surgery team at ARI comprises 20 Consultant General Surgeonswho work across 3 specialty teams. The department spans 4 inpatient wards,one of which is emergency focused and hosts the Surgical Ambulatory Clinic.There is a specialty managed Surgical HDU within the site and the service hasaccess to the Combined Short Stay Unit.

join our dynamic team. The applicant should have the ability to work
effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team and have an understanding
of and willingness to participate in improvement and redesign.
