Following a recent review of our outstanding Oncology service, we are pleased to expand our medical workforce to meet growing demand.
The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust hosts a leading regional Cancer Centre and seeks a well-organised Locum Consultant Clinical Oncologist. The successful candidate will manage and treat patients with hepatobiliary and oesophageal tumours, offering Chemotherapy, systemic therapy, and Radiotherapy (including Stereotactic).
This role provides an opportunity to join a dynamic team delivering exceptional cancer care in a modern, state-of-the-art facility.
The Royal Surrey Cancer Centre offers specialist Cancer and Haemato-Oncological care, including complex cancer surgery, to a catchment area of approximately 1.4 million people in South West Surrey and Hampshire. Non-surgical oncological treatments are provided at the Cancer Centre, which has recently been refurbished to provide a modern, welcoming environment.
We collaborate with local and regional cancer units and the Surrey Clinical Research Facility and look forward to welcoming medical students from the newly opened University of Surrey Medical School.

This role requires a well-organised individual with good team-working skills, capable of completing work within agreed timescales in cooperation with all staff groups and supported by senior colleagues.
Our Cancer Centre aims to provide first-class, high-quality care in a friendly and professional setting. Our services have received national recognition, offering the latest treatments such as Stereotactic ablative radiotherapy, real-time adaptive radiotherapy, high dose rate brachytherapy, and a mobile community infusion suite. We also conduct diagnostic nuclear medicine tests and provide a comprehensive Molecular Radiotherapy service.
