We are a dynamic, patient-orientated team, working collaboratively to deliver state-of-the-art cancer treatments. Our commitment extends not only to providing compassionate care to our patients but also to ensuring the wellbeing of our staff. Main duties of the job

The successful consultant will primarily be responsible for caring for patients with urology malignancies. The other tumour site is negotiable - potentially lung or lower gastrointestinal, but other combinations may also be considered. The post is mainly based at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, with an outpatient clinic located in Kidderminster, one of our peripheral hospital sites.

Main Duties

  • Provision of a comprehensive oncology service, including new patient and follow-up clinics at Worcester and one of our peripheral sites.
  • Provision of emergency cover, including participating in ward rounds on a rotational basis.
  • Providing support cover for consultant colleagues during periods of leave on a shared basis.
  • Contributing to the continuous development of our service.
