Locum Consultant Chest Radiologist - Interest in Chest

Role: Consultant Radiologist - with an interest in Chest

Details: Monday-Friday. Full or part-time considered. Cross site2 SPA8 DCC (including acute CT & acute MRI & US session) (Chest Biopsy) and FNA session not mandatory but preferred

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, skilled, and knowledgeable Radiology Consultant to join a prestigious NHS trust. Working flexible shifts, you will act as an expert consultant to referring physicians, analyzing images to help diagnose, monitor, and treat various conditions, diseases, and injuries.

You will work alongside a friendly, multidisciplinary team, using advanced imaging technology, including CT, MRI, PET, and fusion imaging. As a specialist, you will have access to development and support packages to enhance your knowledge or explore new intervention techniques.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • GMC registered Doctor (not necessarily on the Specialist Register)
  • Relevant experience at Consultant level or supporting references for transition
  • Evidence of right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship)
  • Pass an enhanced DBS check

Main duties include diagnosing, treating, and managing medical conditions using imaging, offering guidance to staff, liaising with medical teams, performing minimally invasive procedures, supporting patients and families, and leading multidisciplinary teams where appropriate.
