A regional healthcare provider in Gillingham seeks a Locum Consultant in Acute Medicine to deliver high-quality care. One of your three references should be from the Medical Director / Chief Medical Officer of your most recent NHS employer (or their nominated deputy), or equivalent for applicants from non-NHS posts. For applicants who are still in a training post, or have completed training within the past year and have not worked in a non-training NHS role since then, a reference from EACH of your two most recent Educational Supervisors can be substituted.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring effective and high-quality care is provided to patients in a timely manner, in conjunction with colleagues in the Emergency Department, AAUs, and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) for increasing the acute consultant presence and ambulatory care options. The postholder will be a clinical leader responsible for shaping service developments, improving quality and safety, and directly managing junior doctors within the wider multi-disciplinary team.
