Job description

Community Nurse
Part time locum
Ellesmere Port and Great Sutton

Dream Medical are working with the NHS trust and require a community nurse for a leg & ulcer and Doppler clinic. This is a part time role to start ASAP until the end of September.

We are looking for an experienced nurse that is competent in comprehensive wound assessment, leg ulcer management, 4 layer compression bandaging and Doppler assessments. The shifts are Monday 09:00-13:00, Wednesday 09:00-17:00 and Friday 09:00-13:00. You will be based in 3 venues around Ellesmere Port and Great Sutton.

Your role will be to work as a member of the community nursing team to provide high quality, evidence-based, holistic nursing care to patients within the primary care setting. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate packages of care based upon individual patient needs, under the guidance of the Community Nursing Clinical Lead. You will be expected to undertake managerial responsibility for the community nursing team in the absence of the Clinical Lead.

Requirements:
  1. Community Nurse experience
  2. RGN Qualification
  3. NMC Registration and pin
  4. Driving licence and own vehicle
  5. References to cover last 3 years
