Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Childcare Locum Solicitor to support a busy private practice team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident practitioner who is Children Panel accredited and ready to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities
  • Managing a full public law caseload, including care proceedings, pre-proceedings (PLO), and emergency protection orders
  • Attending court hearings and representing clients effectively
  • Liaising with guardians, social workers, and other professionals
  • Providing expert legal advice on all areas of childcare law
Requirements
  • Solicitor with current Law Society Children Panel Accreditation (essential)
  • Proven experience handling childcare law cases independently
  • Strong advocacy and case management skills
  • Availability to start at short notice
